Steve Cartin, Director
Steve Cartin was trained and certified by Jameson Management (Dr. John Jameson & Cathy Jameson, PhD) as a Practice Evaluator and Business & Communications Coach. He has served as an independent consultant to Dental Systems, Inc. since 1993 except for the period of 2004-2006 when he served as its General Manager and chaired its Advisory Board. Steve has dental office experience as Practice Administrator in a $2.2 million general/restorative practice and served as Director of Operations for Jameson Management’s UK/Irish consulting division. He serves on the Board of Directors for Southeast Dental Advisors and for the South Carolina Baptist Convention.
Since forming Cartin Coaching & Management in 2008, Steve is routinely invited back as a guest speaker and has presented at more than twenty-five dental continuing education events at the local, state and regional level and at annual national meetings in the US, UK and Ireland.
He is the author of Practice Management from A to Z, Vol. 1 forwarded by Linda Miles and has written extensively in medical and dental practice management publications, primarily in the US but also in the UK. His published articles have appeared in The CSRA MD Journal, The Probe, Private Dentistry and in DE’s online resource, Dentistry IQ.
Dianne Glasscoe Watterson,RDH, BS, MBA
Dianne Glasscoe Watterson, RDH, BS, MBA is an award-winning author, speaker, and consultant. Dianne has published hundreds of articles in various professional journals, including two monthly columns in Dental Economics and RDH magazines. Dianne is a co-author of Foundations of Periodontics for the Dental Hygienist and has published two books: Manage Your Practice Well for dentists and office administrators and The Consummate Dental Hygienist: Solutions for Challenging Workplace Issues. Diane was honored by Dentsply® as a “Distinguished Dental Professional” in 2005 and Colgate® in 2009 ad 2010 as a “Key Opinion Leader.” Dianne has been chosen as a “Top Clinician in Speaking and Consulting” by Dentistry Today every year since 2006. She serves on the editorial board of RDH magazine and is a member of ADHA, American Acadamy of Dental Office Managers, American Academy of Dental Hygiene, and the Christian Medical/Dental Association.
Dr. Bill WilliamS, DMD, MAGD
Dr. Bill Williams is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (33 years) and the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics (32 years) and is highly involved in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (15 years), the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (14 years), the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (12 years), the American Academy for Oral and Systemic Health (10 years) and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (12 years). He is a past president of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry (10 years) and traveled the USSR and Scandinavia on an AGD People To People Dental Tour in 1987. Named the Small Business Person of the Year in 2005, he received the Ron Lamb Award from the Christian Dental Society as the Outstanding Missions Dentist in North America in 2007, having built and/or worked in hospitals, mission outposts, and clinics in Kenya, Tanzania, Haiti, and Honduras. Dr. Williams has lectured at USDI, Myotronics, Bioresearch, Napili, Pentegra, The Advertising Dentist, and the Implant Efficiency Institute as well as teaching in Japan, Italy, Canada, and across the USA on TMJ, orthodontics, reconstruction, marketing, and practice management.
Dr. William F. Davis, is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (36 years) and a member of The American Dental Association (40 years), The Tennessee Dental Association (40 years), The Pierre Fauchard Academy (15 years), The International College of Dentists (15 years) and The Second District Dental Society (40 years). He has been awarded the Fellowship Award from the Tennessee Dental Association and was Dentist of the Year (1993) by Tennessee’s Second District. Dr. Davis has served as President and as Treasurer for The East Tennessee Academy of Dental Practice Administration and has presented multiple times at the TDA Annual Meeting. He is on the Hygiene Faculty of Hiwassee College in Madisonville, Tennessee. Dr. Davis owned a private general practice from 1974-2000 and continued as an Associate of the practice until 2012. He owns W.F. Davis Consulting Inc. and is an advisor with AFTCO Transition Consultants. Dr. Davis serves on the Board of Directors of Southeast Dental Advisors and makes his home in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife, Sheila, and two daughters.
Dr. R. Carson Kight, DMD
Dr. R. Carson Kight began her Dental career at age 16 as a Receptionist and Chairside Dental Assistant. She graduated Cum Laude in 1984 with an AS in Dental Hygiene and went on to earn DMD from The Medical University of South Carolina (1991). With 33 years of experience in Dentistry Dr. Kight is a member of The American Dental Association (26 years) and The South Carolina Dental Association (26 years). She has been active in The Central District Dental Society (SC, 24 years) and the Aiken County Dental Society (24 years), serving as Secretary/Treasurer of both organizations, President Elect of the former and President of the latter. She is a member of The Crown Council and has served on the SCDA Fluoride Task Force. She volunteers her time and skills as a Dentist in Give Kids a Smile and serves the underprivileged regularly in the SCDA’s Dental Access Days. She is a graduate of The Hornbrook Group, The Nash Institute for Dental Learning and Dental Boot Kamp. She has completed certifications in Straight Wire Orthodontics and Invisalign. Dr. Kight is working toward full certification in Sleep Group Solutions, the L.D. Pankey Institute and The Dawson Academy. She resides in Aiken, South Carolina with her husband Eric and Family where she owns her practice, Distinctive Dentistry.
Dr. Christopher Perry
Dr. Christopher Perry has delivered hundreds of hours of continuing dental education. He was nominated by his peers for the 2014 Texas Dentist of the year, Since completing a 2 year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Texas at San Antonio Dental School, Dr. Perry has served as an assistant Clinical Professor in the AEGD residency while maintaining a full-time private practice focused on thorough dentistry with a special concentration on TMJ and facial pain therapy. Dr. Perry is a regular contributor to numerous professional journals including Inside Dentistry and the Journal of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry.
In 2013, Dr. Perry built the Perry Education Center in San Antonio where he holds lectures and hands-on programs and is the owner and lead consultant of Perry Dental Health Consultants.
