What happens after I register for a course?
Instructions on how to enter the course along with your instructors information will be emailed to you within 24 hours or by the following business day.
What if I have questions?
If you are taking a course that provides an instructor you will receive their email and telephone number. For all general questions you may call our main office.
I can't seem to open the PDF files. What do I need to do?
If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader you will need to download this software.
It is a free software that lets you view and print PDF files. Go to their website by clicking on Adobe and follow the instructions in the box.
Is the entire course taught over the Internet?
Yes all of our courses are taught online.
How can I communicate with my instructors while taking this course?
You may communicate with your instructor by telephone, email, mail or through our forums.
What types of quizzes will I be given?
For the Dental Front Office Course you will be provided with either a multiple choice or essay format.
What type of grading scale do you go by?
We do not grade your quizzes or tests. You will either pass or fail. Our purpose is to teach you and help you to grow. The only way you can fail is if you do not complete the course.
What type of certificate will I receive at the end of a course?
A certificate of completion will be mailed to you at the end of the Dental Office Management Program and the Dental Insurance Course. The HIPAA course will provide you with a certificate you may print directly from your computer.
Will I receive Continuing Education hours for the Dental Office Management Program and the Dental Insurance Course?
We provide (3 non-clinical hours) towards recertification for CDAs, COAs and COMSAs and (6 non-clinical hours) for CDPMAs for all staff certified by the Dental Assisting National Board, Inc. (DANB) #05013-0003-06-06 for each course. Other assistants should check with their State Board of Dentistry for CE requirements. Dentists are provided (40) CE hours through the Academy of General Dentistry #218012 (01/0106 to 12/31/09) and (20) CE hours for the Dental Insurance Course.
*The Dental Office Management Program is approved for continuing education credits by DANB. DANB approval indicates that a continuing education course appears to meet certain specifications as described in the DANB Recertification Guidelines.
How do I enter the course?

I am a dentist will I be taking the same course as my staff?
Yes, at this time you will. Though there are quizzes we don't expect you to take like the numeral and alpha quiz, we do want you to know what your staff will be learning.
I am just entering the dental field, how will I find employment once I have completed your course?
Your instructor will assist you in resume preparation and professional interview techniques. We do not promise or guarantee employment, however, a sincere and determined effort is made to assist students in finding jobs through staffing companies and our affiliation with Dentalworkers.com. This Internet based site provides our students with a resume builder. Once completed you may place your resumes at no extra charge on their site. Dentists in your area will be emailed your name and information and you will receive by email the dentists information as well.
Who will be my instructor?
Each student is paired up with a qualified dental instructor. Questions and feedback will be provided by email and phone. All of our instructors are either Office Managers or Dentists.
