I found the medical to dental cross coding course to be extremely helpful in finding new ways to find monies for our patients when their dental insurance either wouldn't pay or they did not have any. Being able to fill out and understand a medical claim gives a much broader insight into the world of insurance. Although I have been filing dental claims for 30 years, I thought that I would find this course difficult. Not only because medical claims seemed intimidating, but I am not that computer savvy and thought an "online" course would be too difficult and confusing. I WAS SO WRONG! The course is set up to be informative but not boring. The instructor was very helpful not only with the course, but she actually called me when I had difficulty.
